Speaker appears to be of high quality. Its still new so time will tell how well it actually performs and holds up. Sound is very good. Not too much bass in my opinion but still a great sound.

Thank you so much for your help with the name mixup and thank you even more for the speaker. Ive been playing with it for the last couple of weeks and I don’t even know where to begin to start praising it, so im just gonna give you a story of my first experience with it (sorry in advance for the long winded tale). For the past 3 years I’ve used a Soundboks 3 and Soundboks Go for my Bass Guitar and Vocals for our live shows and for recording. We usually play venues that are max 200 capacity and they have done a pretty good job as a pair at those venues and I’ve even been able to occasionally use just the SB3 at smaller venues/house shows and it does ok but never “spectacular”. We recently had the opportunity to play a 700+ cap venue, 100×50 foot room, 30 foot ceilings, sold out and packed with people and I had just received the stage one the day before. I thought why not just bring it with my 2 SB3s and SBGo to the show and see how it holds up. I synced all four together (extremely easy) played a few note, and was immediately told “NO WAY” far too loud, and I completely agreed, so i turned off the one SB3 and still too loud. Then I turned off the a GO, and again too loud. I had the Stage One as the Host, and just decided to try it as a stand alone and the sound engineer was still skeptical and was saying the bass a bit more “booming” than he liked but he said the volume was “acceptable”. I used only the Stage One the whole show, 4 hours, only drained the first battery to one green light, and it filled that room with sound. This was also pretty much straight out of the box, no eq, no bass+, just volume and gain. I am absolutely amazed by this thing! My drummer was just as blown away. The next day I started to really tap into it and started playing with the eq and I probably would’ve been told I still had to turn down at that show if I had tinkered with it beforehand. Thank you so so much for this. I have tried every single battery powered speaker available and this thing is in a class of its own. I am so excited to play out with it more.

It is immersive in its ability to reproduce instruments and vocals within the sound stage, that I’ve not heard in any other speaker of its size. The experience is not only heard, but felt as well, from all three phases, treble-mid bass-sub base at any volume, and it looks as amazing as it sounds. with its ample choices of inputs and outputs, and ability to connect others, this will surely allow it to blend into any set up or event with Chameleon like quality. To not be tethered by power cords or patch cords is truly a game changer for DJ’s. And when needed, the ability to plug in mixers or sound boards and mic is a relief. I’m so blown away that I must order a second speakers, so I may truly enjoy Stereo sound in a Big way. With the knowledge of a coming Subwoofer, and if it bumps as I believe it will, then I will have reached Nirvana. Some companies believe that Perfect is the enemy of Good Enough, not you and your team at Electrotec Audio, please keep pushing the envelope. . I purchased a Stage One for my son after he did a lot of research on what’s available, it arrived and we set it up at my house, it was so simple to connect and play music, in a word “Stunning”, the sound, the clarity, the detail, the quality at low volume, we heard details on Pink Floyd that we have not heard before.
